Who We Are
D&D Dental Consulting partners with community-based oral health programs to strengthen performance, expand access, and build financially sustainable systems of care. We serve Federally Qualified Health Centers, public health dental programs, hospital-based and school-based oral health programs, mobile dental initiatives, Primary Care Associations, and other organizations committed to improving access to high-quality oral health care.

Andrea Dickhaut, BSDH, MHA, is co-founder of D&D Dental Consulting and a highly respected dental leader with more than 30 years of experience spanning clinical care, operations, and executive management. Throughout her career, she has held leadership roles in private practices, Federally Qualified Health Centers, hospital-based dental programs, and portable dental programs, giving her a broad and practical perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing today’s dental organizations. Andrea is widely recognized for her expertise in practice transformation, revenue cycle optimization, preventive care models, and disease management strategies that improve both patient outcomes and organizational performance.
Known for her strategic, hands-on approach, Andrea partners with organizations to strengthen clinical quality, improve operational efficiency, and build financially sustainable dental programs. She is a frequent speaker at regional and national conferences, where she shares practical insights on topics including scheduling, capacity management, revenue cycle performance, and sustainable program growth. Her work is grounded in real-world experience and a deep commitment to helping dental teams deliver high-quality, accessible care while positioning their organizations for long-term success.

Mindy Diggan, RDH, MHA, is a nationally recognized dental consultant and speaker with more than 20 years of experience in dentistry, with a primary focus on safety-net care. She began her career as a clinical dental hygienist in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and went on to build and lead integrated oral health programs that connect dental services with medical care, chronic disease management, and behavioral health. Her work is grounded in the belief that strong dental systems improve both patient outcomes and organizational performance.
As Founding Partner of D&D Dental Consulting, she partners with safety-net dental programs across the country to strengthen operations, improve quality of care, expand access, and build sustainable models for long-term success. Drawing on her experience as both a clinician and a senior operations leader for a large multi-site FQHC dental program, Mindy brings practical, data-informed expertise to dental program assessment, workflow redesign, staffing models, provider productivity, quality improvement, compliance readiness, and patient-centered care delivery. She is especially known for helping organizations translate complex operational challenges into clear strategies that support efficient systems, high standards of care, and measurable results.
